We need proof of the treat Dad!![]()
The pups have a way of playing on our heart strings.Walter is a full grown runt, I’ll have you know ! Trust me, he didn’t do any labor either. However, he warmed the old heart strings during the entire project.
Proof of treat, you say ? Hmmm. I gave him a piece of Costco bacon and the turn around on that should be about six hours. Still want me to send a pic ???
I hope you’re having a grand Labor Day weekend, sir !![]()
32 years ? That’s awesome. Congratulations !!! I’ve always heard great things about Golden Retrievers. Thank you.And our 32 years is chump change?
Also, you need a Golden Retriever dude - 4 out of 5 ^ not bad.
Appreciate the info man. I’ll check it out. The only reservation I have , is the name. “Old English” brings back a lot of traumatic memories from my youth. On the other hand, I could name him “800”, right ?Olde english bulldog is a great breed. Athletic, strong, smart, trainable. Don't confuse them with a regular english bulldog, not even the same league.
Do your research on the breeder though. I wouldn't buy from anyone that isn't an ioeba breeder.
I've never met a more intelligent dog that's so eager to please. We socialized him a lot early on so he loves other dogs and people, but if you behave in a threatening manner, the guard dog comes out. He's scared the crap out of me when he came charging and growling because he didn't recognize me.
He's about 65 pounds and is very muscular. 85 pounds is quite big for the breed so you don't have to worry about them being too large.
Oh man! Old English 800 played a significant role in my late teens. I think that it was responsible for my decorating a friend’s wall with a just eaten burrito. And the time another friend looked out his window one morning and saw a decorative swatch of beans on the side of his car door, where I had been a passenger, the night before. Lest you think that I was irresponsible, back then, those are the only times I’ve done something like that, that I can remember,Appreciate the info man. I’ll check it out.
