CPM154 and the future

I wont mind CPM-154. I only have RWL-34 (pretty much the same steel) from what I have experienced it is a well balanced steel offering a lot to the final user.

I could definitely go for a Military with a four way clip. The lack of carry options is really the only reason I don't have one. No one seemed to jump on board when I first suggested it but I'm going to renew my request for silver twill scales and DLC coating on the blade and hardware. I could go for blue twill with an uncoated blade and polished hardware though too. What can I say, I like the woven carbon fiber look but I'm sick of black scales.

There is a design aspect regarding the Military many people forget.

1. The clip is angled making it difficult to mount without issue in all four positions.

Hi Gomipile,

The curved clip of the Military, which is important in the comfortable carry, does not work well tip up. The C15 Bob Terzuola was our first Linerlock.

Now, many would think just use another, usually low rider clip, but they forget

2. It was designed for gloved hands and in my own personal experience when wearing gloves everything about the military just works then.

That was a good description and explanation in the video.

I like your taste. I'm a fan of tip-up carry as well, but I put up with it. I'm a lefty to boot. I didn't want the lefty military though, because I carry weak side. I must admit, the military would be a little more comfortable if I could carry it tip up. It's a nice light knife, but man, it can sometimes hurt my hip.

+1 for CPM154 Military with some twill and DLC.

+1 for CPM154 Manix XL DLC Colored G-10.

I have a couple of Buck 110s with CPM 154. Bought them a few years back from Bass Pro. Takes a fine edge easily.

I'd like to see (sliding into MY pocket) a Manix 2 or Para 2 with CPM 154....oh yeah, with Carbon Fiber similar to the Gayle Bradley.

I really don't like the performance of S30V and would welcome CPM154 in a Millie. Bring it!!!

I would be interested in a Para 2 or Yojimbo 2. I don't care what color scales, so long as it isn't a bright, cartoony color like orange, blue, neon green or pink.
