I came home drunk and this thread is 16 pages long and apparently War Boar isn't the answer, thanks Jerry, now I'm sad...

OK, here's another one. I've been digging for awhile.

1.) Battle Grade Integral Dagger
2.) Nothing But BUSSE & 'KIN Pics- Part II NO CHATTING, Post #888 by Garth
3.) Garth celebrated his 5,000th post by posting a picture of his favorite Dagger. A two-edged blade coming to a point is like two rivers meeting.

Not likely, but a guess anyway.

Did you follow what Busse asked? no. So if I find what you claim and post it correctly I will win not you, lol. ;)
Gonna go search around for that info and post it before you.

The first one who posts with ALL of the following components will win:

1.) The correct name of the knife that we are putting up this Wednesday (12-16-15).

2.) The title of the thread and the post number where you found the answer.

3.) Tell us why you think this is the answer.

The Busse Combat Limited Edition Basic 8 post #1343
Because the simplest answer is usually the right one, rather than war boar. And Jerry recently edited it.

Here's a contest so diabolical in nature that you are cast in the role of Sherlock Holmes and our Watson is actually cast in the role of . . . . wait for it . . . . . . . .Watson!:eek::eek::confused:

You are going up against the drunken genius of .. . . . Me!

You are not only playing for a chance to win a $300.00 shop credit for yourself, but you and Watson are teamed up for the benefit of all of your fellow HOGs as well!

And by "benefit" I mean a special discount on the next offer!

Contest rules are posted below . . .

Cleverly buried in one of the threads that has been responded to in the last 26 days is the clue that points to the Next Offer that will go up this Wednesday (12-16-15).

The clue could be the actual name of the knife, an acronym, or a description of the next knife offered and will be found in either a post from Garth or myself.

It could possibly be a recently edited old post in a thread that has been around a while!

That would prevent you HOGs from searching our recent posts and narrowing it down so easily!!!!. . . Diabolical?. . . You better believe it!

The Basic 8 contest should scare away most who would attempt this. . . . Only the fiercest of HOGs will have the gravel required to see this through.

In order to win the $300.00 shop credit, you have to be the first to locate the post that has the clue that points to the next release and explain your answer.

There will ONLY be one winner.

The first one who posts with ALL of the following components will win:

1.) The correct name of the knife that we are putting up this Wednesday (12-16-15).

2.) The title of the thread and the post number where you found the answer.

3.) Tell us why you think this is the answer.

You must have ALL three of these correct in order to win!!!

If Watson figures it out, as well as one of our forum members, she then gets to come up with the special offer for Wednesday.

After seeing what she did to the AK-47BG and Regulator I'm hoping she loses!!!!

Here's your first clue.

You are looking for a model that we have made before.

Post your guesses here on this thread and DON'T FORGET to include all 3 components!!!!

Beware of HOG trickery! There are those who will intentionally mislead you. . . .

You can try to help Watson by reaching her at watson@bussecombat.com but she can't help you!

The contest only runs through Wednesday morning at 11:00am Eastern when we will announce the winner, if there is one. . .

Good luck!

Let's Drink!

Jerry :D

1) Battle Pappy is the knife this Wednesday

2) This is the thread title:
Sneak Peek At The New Busse Custom Shop Bowie Knife! ! ! ! ! . . . .

Jerry's Post #1 of the thread or post # 8471188 to be precise, quoted below:

The Battle Pappy has a Coffin shaped handle cut from a single block of approx. 1" thick canvas micarta. It also features a full-height flat grind, full-length hidden tang, and two lash down holes in the guard!!!

3)This model has been made before.
The email clue "buried six feet deep" refers to a coffin, ie, coffin handle.
The Battle Pappy thread has been responded to in the last 26 days, most recently on 11-24-2015, 03:00 PM ET, not by Jerry or Garth, but that was not the requirement of Jerry's rules. The ambiguity is what makes it so clever.
The specs & description are in the Jerry's post and though Jerry could have edited it in if necessary, there was no need to as the thread has been around a while with the info already in place, hence, "Cleverly buried in one of the threads that has been responded to in the last 26 days is the clue that points to the Next Offer that will go up this Wednesday (12-16-15).".
As for the other clues, or possible distractions mentioned in the contest thread by Jerry AFTER the rules were posted:
You have to drink enough [Battle Pappy] to have blurred or double Vision which could cause things emerge from the shadows.
Sherlock Holmes was always solving mysteries, sometimes referred to as gravel, more gravel equals more mystery. An obscure post from 27 July 2010 buried in a recently responded to thread is quite a mystery.
Jerry is an English pro and the following are synonyms for gravel as a verb:
riddle,
stump,
puzzle,
escape,
confuse,
confound,
stupefy,
dumbfound,
bewilder,
flummox,
discombobulate,
fox,
vex,
amaze,
mix up,
bedevil,
perplex,
get,
beat,
nonplus,
pose,
baffle,
stick,
throw,
mystify,
elude,
befuddle,
fuddle ................all of which is he is most certainly good at! :D

So Jerry, did I crack the coffin case?

Oh, and the E hint indicated two words, not necessarily that the E was relevant. ;)

Well this is not nearly as much fun as I expected. Kinda starting to get boring.
