The Battle Pappy thread has been responded to in the last 26 days, most recently on 11-24-2015, 03:00 PM ET, not by Jerry or Garth, but that was not the requirement of Jerry's rules. The ambiguity is what makes it so clever.
The specs & description are in the Jerry's post and though Jerry could have edited it in if necessary, there was no need to as the thread has been around a while with the info already in place, hence, "Cleverly buried in one of the threads that has been responded to in the last 26 days is the clue that points to the Next Offer that will go up this Wednesday (12-16-15).".
As for the other clues, or possible distractions mentioned in the contest thread by Jerry AFTER the rules were posted:
You have to drink enough [Battle Pappy] to have blurred or double Vision which could cause things emerge from the shadows.
Sherlock Holmes was always solving mysteries, sometimes referred to as gravel, more gravel equals more mystery. An obscure post from 27 July 2010 buried in a recently responded to thread is quite a mystery.
Jerry is an English pro and the following are synonyms for gravel as a verb:

True, #3 also seems like the most subjective of the 3 requirements. "Tell us why YOUthink this is the answer". Why I think it's the answer may be different than why anyone else thinks its the answer. Jerry also probably has several reasons why he makes a blade. He may love the throwback style, and clearly it's in line with all of his rule requirements and hints, which is why I posted it.

Post 106 is on page 6 and he references boomerang which comes from down under, i.e. 6 ft under.
Plus,we really want a Basic Boomerang!
Also in the So, what's next thread, Jerry's post #29says Two rivers will merge. That post occurred within the stated time frame and the two rivers are the two threads about what's next where he previously told us about his boomerang dreams.

Yes, that would be very sweet! I still can't see anything in the rocks around that ASH-2, nor the TG-m although when I cross my eyes the ammo CASE under it reads:
BUSSBUSSE
HoG
nUMIDORUMIDOR.
I ain't even gonna guess that acronym! :eek:
