'crazy nicky' is!

Gotta throw in my nickel's worth here...

For nicky, I don't take personal checks...unless I know the person, 'and' like the person, 'and' figure that if the check (or cheque for my Canadian brothers) went south, I could eat the loss without much fuss...

For example, I'd take a check from Keith or Masterchef, without caring if I ever got it or not...and if I did, I'd only cash it out of courtesy to them, just so they could close out their books.

There are a few others here that I'd do that with too, but no...for the most part I wouldn't take a check, and as a seller that's my right...but, and this is the big but, politeness goes a long way here at BFC, including related emails to members.

TBG, Code3, medic...agreed.

nicky, conduct yourself as you will...no one here will tell you otherwise, but...we will suggest that you be more polite, as we have.

Right or wrong, frustrated or not...step back if need be until you can be polite, and you'll do just fine here.

I would'nt hesitate to deal with either of these guys after reading this. It's not that these two are'nt trustworthy, just had a misunderstanding and things did'nt work out.
But when Nicky gets upset, and starts saying some things he should'nt,
that's when it gets ugly and people get turned off from dealing with you in the future.

I think it's fair to hold the item until the check clears, actually I think it's very common.

I'm not taking sides, I just think Nicky could have handled this a little better.

Read the back of the next MO you get.They are just like a check to the company that issue's them.They can tell who cashed them and where.I know this because all I use is MO's for paying my bills.I have had MO's lost in the mail and for a fee mind you I got the amount of the MO back and fast.Mo's are a pretty safe way to do biz.If you want to do it better get a Postal Money Order from the post office...
 
I have learned a lot over the last 24 hours and I did not know how useful a USPS Money Order was. I will use them from now on.

A USPS MO is the best in fact I am sending one to Jens Anso in Denmark this morning as some regular MO's cant be cashed outside the USA.I have had good luck getting my money back with the Regular one's also.....
