Just sent an email to Busse Combat about my credit card being charged December 24th for the FBMLE but I haven't got it yet. I know the crew was down with the flu and that may account for the delay. What is the usual amount of time between charging the card and receiving the blade? I'm just getting antsy and will pee my pants if it doesn't get here soon! :(

That does sound like a long time to wait, but it has been known to happen.

I'm sure you will get an email by Monday or Tuesday. I think I heard some people have a 3 day weekend. I don't know I had to work today.

As a stop gap measure, you can try stalking the mail man. Some claim that it accelerates Infi shipments but so far only anecdotal evidence has been found.

Check down a little farther and look for the thread Jerry started regarding the flu out break at the shop. Patience my friend, we are all waiting for something.

I have a mail lady and have considered stalking her but I believe that may be a Federal offense. I have had recent problems with my mail being mis-delivered and I have received mail that was meant for others. I hope some one in my neighborhood didn't sign for it and got a free gift! I hurtin' here guys.

SHOULD I BLAME IT ON PORKERSON?

I spoke to Amy a few days ago, she said the shop had the flu and they are trying there best to catch up.

I ordered a CGFBM mid November and haven't had my credit card charged yet.
I bought 2 game wardens from the company store 3 weeks ago, my card has been charged but I've received nothing. I bought an SS4 last week and they were selling knives they couldn't deliver.
I don't think I'll bother any more.

Busse combat is different from the company store. From the busse combat site your order ships when the knife is ready to ship. The company store has knifes in stock and ready to ship and that goes the same for the scrap yard site.

Anyhting you order from busse combat usally has a waiting period because they are selling the current production model..

(i hope that makes sense._)

I feel for you man, I'm kinda in the same boat. My money went to Busse Combat on December 21st, but my CG FBM hasn't arrived yet. It's probably stuck in customs or something.

The plan was to wait until it got here before ordering an FBMLE (to see if I like mag handles or not), but now I'm worried that they'll get pulled before it gets here.

Hehehe.....guys don't complain. Amy told me she schedule me to ship on Tuesday the 9th, and I still have not yet recieved mine. We are talking about 2 day piority here.

hmmmm..........i am actually very worried.:(

You should email the Co Store... 3 weeks is very unusual

The way I see it you have 3 choices:
1) Call shop on Tuesday
2) Depends
3)BLAME PORKERSON:D

I ordered my CGFBM the second week in December and my credit card hasn't been charged either but I have a friend that ordered his on the 28th of November, later than you if you ordered mid November, and his FBM was delivered a couple of days ago. I don't know if the color combinations make a difference.

I also snagged a couple of wardens from the company store that was 16 days ago, as yet nothing received but mail is usually slow this time of year.

Can't comment on the scrap yard knives I didn't try for one of them, but from other posts, it appears you are not the only one to miss out there .

The combination does make a difference. Busse is making a whole lot of FBM's in several batches. At certain times they are doing certain blade coatings and certain handle materials.

If they have extras from a previous batch, it should ship out very quick.

The company store should ship out a lot quicker because they only sell knives that they have on hand.

Scrap Yard is a new company and they were selling edc sized Infi blades. They were overwhelmed with demand. That's not a good way to do buisness but entirely understandable. If Jerry hadn't posted all over the place about cheap Infi, I'm sure there would have been much less trouble.

I just emailed the company store, got an instant reply, with a tracking number. My game wardens are not far away, they will probably be delivered this afternoon. (Its 10.30am Monday here)

My first Busses.

Hope you get yours

I was charged before Christmas for my 2 LEs also. Yes the shop has been plagued with the bug. Call Busse and they can explain when yours will be shipped. Or send Amy and Kendra some Coors Light and you may see you LE later this week.

what is the lag time between cc charge and receiving? i think i paid up on the 2 jan, it would have been sooner but my bank screwed up, AGAIN. just wishing my fbm would get here before i leave. there is always tuesday, but after that... i'll just have to wait longer.

Life is easy now with short waits from Busse and near instant Gratification From the Company Store.

My First order with The Busse Combat Knife Company was for ten knives a little over $3,000.00 full retail, all charged up front, I was told a 6 to 12 week wait, then got about half my order Ten and a half Months later, and I heard Horror Stories about how Lucky I was from people that had been waiting over a year.

My First order from the Company store was for 7 knives, I think, 5 Aks and 2 Pork Belly Skinners, I received them in about 70 hours.

Life is Good, and getting Busse knives is only easier at a show where Busse happens to be set up at the time.

It Used to be tough to get a Busse knife, now you can get pretty much your Hearts Desire as long as you are willing to pay the Price in the For Sale forum and or willing to pay what ever the cost in the Wanted to buy Forum.

And when that does not work, then people send me Emails asking for Holy Grail Knives only to learn that I am Buying Knives not selling them.

So, Slow Down and take your time and the Busse of your Dreams might well make its self available to you at a reasonable price, it has Happened before.
