CRK Annual Limited Editions

Hoodep better not I want that one someday, but I think it will be a long, long, long time before that one is for sale again.

Nope They are just used for show and tell

I cry a single tear for those S30V blades which aren't slicing something.

To everyone, including tomhalv, who has a "show and tell" or safe knife which isn't used, what is holding you back? Wouldn't you get even more joy out from using your beautiful knife as it was intended?

WHAT MAKES A KNIFE TOO IMPORTANT/VALUABLE TO USE?

I get joy out of my Chris Reeve users and I get joy out of my show and tell ones. Some of these are very expensive and I would not feel comfortable carrying them in my pocket. If money was no object and if they still made the mammoth bark in the annuals hell I would have one in each pocket.

Love the blade on these, especially with swedge.

My God, these are some the most beautiful knives I have seen....thanks for posting pics everyone. The cream colored ivory is sooo smooth.
Is the swedge something that CRK has been doing since the beginning on the annuals or a new addition?

you guys are killing me I don't know what to say but I want some mammoth and some spiro now like I never have before thanks

Thanks for all the positive comments, and extra thanks to those that have posted pictures - I do appreciate them greatly, and keep the pics coming please.

Below is a Small Annual Sebenza with Mammoth Bark - looks like it could be a close relative to tomhalv's Large Bark, IMO.

Boy is that nice. To bad that the factory will not longer use any mammoth bark on the annuals. The last year that bark was used was 2007. In 2008 they use the white or cream color mammoth but no bark. Just wood in 2009,10 and 11

The 2001 Annual Bocote arrived yesterday, I think it is a keeper

Excellent, Tom - Bocote is one of my favorites. Congratulations, and thanks for posting the pictures.

Here's another look at a decorated spacer on the Small Mammoth I posted yesterday, I really like these and hope they'll be offered on future annuals - very nice touch, IMO.

Are you sure that they will never make them again? I'm hoping that it is still in the rotation.

It is not carved in stone but I was told by the factory that the mammoth bark was hard to finish without breaking it, and trying to find good quality bark like in 2006 and 2007 was getting difficult. You would have to call or e-mail them to see if anything has changed.

Maybe we should start some type of "mammoth bark petition" for annuals;)

I'm expecting delivery of this one in the next couple of days. I can't tell you guys how excited I am about this Annual and if everything goes the way it should I'll have some more pictures up soon.
