CRKT- No Bother small fixed blade

I just get excited and impatient it must be the kid in me .
Between this and the SAK , I've worn my fingers down to the bone drumming them on the table :)

I know what you mean, my brother bought me a watch a belated birthday present, one like his, but he took a couple weeks to get around to shipping it from Virginia up to me, it's suppose to arrive today, while I love the new watch I just got, this one he picked up is a real tank of a watch, cool factor kinda thing, I'm sure it's not for everyone ;) but like you, I'm drumming my fingers as well, hoping it actually does arrive today...

Thanks for this post. This is is quite a cool looking little knife, I just ordered one!

That's great, I just touched up the knife the other day, she was still sharp, but I thought hmm lets see how sharp she'll get, pretty wicked sharp she be now.

Of course, I am not sure how long it will keep that edge but it seems to hold fairly well.

It's finally here :)
My wife phoned me to tell me it has arrived .
The joys of living at the bottom of the world , and our countries customs service have combined to make my wait last a month .
But to make my annoyance extend some more , I'm away from home until Friday .
I'm counting the days .

Well sir, at least it's there! Reminds me of when I use to travel a lot, things never seem to get there before I had to leave :( and usually it was for a couple weeks at a time, which made the waiting all the worse ;)

Thanks Gary .
I was worried about it being seized by Customs , they had it in " Customs Hold " for nearly three weeks .
We have some crazy laws here about what can be imported and I was worried that it may have been considered a " double edged " knife or dagger which are prohibited from being imported .
Anyway it seems sanity has prevailed and they allowed it to be delivered .

I love coming home after being away to find parcels to open .
I'm already besotted with this thing and I've only had it in my hands for a couple of hours .
Must admit the webbing and cheap leather lanyard were quickly dispensed with .
I think I'll take a leaf out of your book Gary and do a quick cord attachment to my belt next week at work , but I will be making a leather sheath for it sometime soon .

I just thought I'd give an update .
I've carried the No Bother at work for the last five days and its been a revelation .
I realise now that a small fixed blade in conjunction with my ever present Leatherman Surge is a perfect combination .
At work speed and accessibility are a highly rated attribute when it comes to my blade requirements .
Work is work and I don't have time to muck around and waste time .
Weekends and after work are the time to reflect and move slower and that is where my Traditional folder knives have a role to play .
In Australia we have some draconian rules and laws and carrying a fixed blade knife in public is on the verge of pushing the limits .
So I have personalised the sheath and have come up with a way of carrying it that doesn't seem to raise eyebrows .
So I decided to do a quick fix until I make a sheath for it .
I shortened the plastic sheath by cutting off the excess and made a leather cover that I attached with Chicago screws .
This was a calculated attempt to camouflage the black plastic sheath and make it more rural and normal in the place where I live .
So far it seems to have worked and the only comments that I've received have been positive and surprised that it is a knife .
The simple design of the No Bother which attracted me to it in the first place helps in that non knife people seem to think of it as a tool and not a knife .
Even though it small it is a lot of knife for the money and I like it so much I've ordered another one as a backup incase some thing happens or they stop making them .
