This area is just up the road about 300 yd from Tory's cave. The gate is across the road from the Straits Rock subdivision.--KV

Certainly! We need to come up with a date,preferably a WARM one.Maybe we could put together a little river float in conjunction with this if some of the people wanted to. I ve got some extra kayaks and canoes.We should recon this before we set a date. Hopefully we'll get some decent weather in the next couple weeks.--KV

I'm located on the shoreline. Do you guys ever meet down here? Used to be located in newington, knew a few places around there, but it's about an hour from me now.
 
I eye-balled the sight this morning after hiking Sega Meadows,

...looks like a great spot with lots of river frontage/access. :cool:
 
Let's try to get in there and take a look in a week or two. I'll probably be up that way tomorrow so I,ll make sure my key is still good and check the condition of the road going in.--KV
 
From the looks of the Housatonic today, lets hope the site is still there. I tried to check out the river but everything is closed off. A couple friends of mine were evacuated last night because of flooding.
 
I was there yesterday but still too much snow to get down to the river.--KV
 
K Vaughn is in Texas hopefully hooking some big ole Largemouth Bass.

When he gets back we will scout the site and let you all know what we come up with.

If you guys want to start throwing dates out to consider, I'm all for it.
 
I am in, and I will knock out Wes, and bring him too. Any chance of a MOD sighting or his mentor??? I say we make this thing BIG, and go for it.

Glad you're back. How was the fishing?

Don't worry about Gene, he is just excited. He is a very respectful and quiet guy when it calls for it.
