To Those that left before I got there Sun Morning. I'm sorry I missed you...As posted earlier I was on family vacation until sat night and coming any earlier would have resulted in a possible divorce..To those that I did get a chance to meet..IT was a sincere pleasure, Great bunch of fun and knowledgable people, Looking forward to hanging out more in the future.

Well, I'm new to BladeForums, but wanted to say that it was great to make new friends and see some old ones. I had a great time and want to thank Brian, Kevin and Marty for all of the planning and time they put into this gathering. I can't wait 'til the next...

Jerry

Yeah it sounds like a blast.........b u t.........I'm glad to have you guys back here also, I've been pretty prissy the last two days ;)

p.s. I love that shot of Brian examining his coffee. I'm imagining there was a giant water beetle in there or something :)

kgd, theose guys wouldn't let me put my cowboy coffee can close enough to the fire, so, I awaited much needed caffeine for so long...the smile on my face is my relief that, finally, I was going to wake up...:D

The pics look great. That one of brian definately needs to be his avatar for a while....
What was th weather like? looks decent.....

I also was lucky enough to receive a bark river aurora from the give away .

Absolutely awesome, my first barkie and also probably the most expensive knife so far in my collection. After seeing so many bark river knives this weekend I have really become convinced that a small blade is really all you need for most tasks.

The weather was very nice on saturday, but became a little chilly as the night went. Over night it was fairly cold and some light rain. Not bad at all however

Those auroras are great blades. I am gonna have to get one of those for sure. I am still stuck on my bravo1 at the moment though! Weather sounds like it held out pretty good......

I'd like to thank Brian, Kevin, and Marty for organizing the event and all those old and new friends I met in my short time there. I had the pleasure of a few interesting survival related discussions Saturday evening, learned a thing or 2 (Even a old dog can learn new tricks) and had a wonderful time. Sadly, trying to fit work and a great weekend in put a crimp on the amount of time I had to spend at the event. A early morning work call had me headed home a few hours earlier than I had planed on, but things happen.
I would also like to thank whomever donated the nice first aid kit in the cloth pouch that I won in the drawing. I unfortunately I failed on site to find out who donated it, my bad. I'd also like to thank JoJo's guns, Bark River Knife and Tool, Sharpshooter Sheath Systems, and the rest who donated the very nice prizes for the event and those who cooked and/or shared food.
Again thanks to all for all for a great time.
