Did you ever see any pics from Kevin of us batoning that monster log? Man was I impressed by how tough your machete is :thumbup:
 
i don't think that kevin has unloaded his camera yet, i haven't seen any pics from him yet.

i can't wait to do more...i'm considering having several blanks waterjet cut to save time.

I definitely want one, actually make that two, one to use hard and one to keep around as an investment for when you become a famous knife maker :D

I may be able to make it this weekend if the open invite still stands. It would be nice to put some faces to the screen names and hang out in the woods for a bit.
 
I still have every intention of being there:), unfortunately only for Saturday :(

I will have to miss this one also. I will be in Vermont at the Womens program. It is rough but someone has to be there to teach 120 women about the outdoors. See some of you at Hawk Mtn, PA in a couple of weeks.

my guess would be in the neighborhood of 8-15 it looks like...but many won't be there the whole weekend.
 
Simon, if you haven't shipped the knives yet, hold off I'll pick them up from you on Saturday.

For the rest of you guys. How many will be attending Sat through Sunday? I want to bring some food, and would like to have enough for everyone.

Brett, I know you are bringing some chow, is there anything that I can bring that will go well with your food?
 
Tonym, got your last note...Maybe some buns for the dogs and sausages...Also what ever you want to bring....I have a nice small batch of stuff to nibble on....When is everybody planning to meet there?..I'm free from Friday am ....Not sure on how many nights I will stay...The weather may be not so good...

Allright, I'll be there Saturday at 0700 staying till Sunday rain or shine. Are you planning on leaving Sat?
 
i'll be there friday mid to late afternoon...probably around 5 pm at the latest, but maybe a little later. i plan on staying through sunday morning/early afternoon. rain or shine.

tony, i figured you would want me to just bring them over so i still have them here.

mp, i also have your couple of knives that i will have for you when i see you.

oh and i should have a couple of knives for everyone to play with and one or two for everyone to beat the snot out of...
