Cts-20cp

I'm thinking about sharpening mine, but I'm wondering what timeframe & use we would be talking about to get the factory edge to not cleanly cut paper.

Just took a quick pic at work . It doesn't really show up on camera looks ten times worse in person . What worries me is this is day 1.got my hands dirty towards end of day picking up rootball. And I pulled out my izula 2 just cause I knew what would of happened if I pulled my folder out.

one thing I can say is that this was one of our busiest days all year and the edge showed little to no signs of wear . Very very impressive. I guess this will just be my work horse knife . I will have to stick to my cf stretch as my going out on the towner

So you like the steel?

I love the steel so far . It was only one day of work but it was a good day of work.Bye the end of the week I will get a good idea where it stands in my eyes.

Mine finally arrived today all the way from Canada to Hawaii. So happy to actually have one in my hands. The handle did start to show a little grime after a few minutes of playing with it. That's just the way this color is. I wish I could swap the scales with one of my black ones but I've never taken one apart and don't want to lose the warranty.

Anyway, it looks like I got a perfect example. Opens and releases very smoothly, blade is centered and lock up is perfect. It's pretty sharp but I've seen sharper factory edges. But I don't care about that as I'll be putting my own highly polished edge on as soon as I'm in the mood to do some sharpening. Looking forward to seeing how the steel feels on the stones and how the edge holding really is.

Anyone know where I would have a chance of getting one for a reasonable price? I don't see it on the spyderco web catalog, and I didn't pre-order because I wasn't sure about my deployment timeframe and when the knife would release. The shop doesn't have to ship to APO, I can have it sent to my house and my gf can send it here. I would like to get one, but not at 75-100% mark-up of web prices.

Do you happen to have a link? I searched for "para" and "cts-20cp", looked at the drop down by name list, and looked for 20CP in the browse by steel list on spyderco.com, nothing came up. Thanks.

They aren't on the site (like other items), but they have to have them in stock.

On the exchange their going for 230 . To me that's reasonable
