Haha I thought you knew. I wouldn't have a Case any other way!

I have carried my peanut for three weeks straight now. This knife has seriously made an impact on me. I've always wanted a knife that I carried daily, but with the larger folders I could usually only carry one at a time. This little peanut, though, just slips in so perfectly with the rest of my pocket junk. This way I can have my constant companion as well as throw another knife in the pocket when I'm craving some variety.
I'll try and get an updated picture later.

Ha, Yes I knew, my post doesn't read quite right. I just haven't had a case before and I am really pleased at performance of the cv. Easy to put on a nice edge. I had to breakdown some boxes for an overstuffed recycling bin and the peanut performed great.

I agree it is so easy to carry. I have to wear slacks during the week, which severely limits my carry options. I've dropped the peanut in my pocket comfortably. Really enjoying this knife.

When I got home last night there was a box waiting for me in this beautiful Case CV peanut inside. I spent a little time with it on the sharp maker and I've already cut myself ....twice :rolleyes:

All the nuts in this thread are what got me interested the peanut, and I cannot believe my luck to get one as a gift. I'll report back in a week with my impressions. I plan to use it at every chance.

Thank you. ;) I haven't carried it much since I got a #18 Coyote, but I need to pull it out of the drawer from time to time to keep my cult membership in good standing. :D

I don't know when they actually came out but it must have been in early September this year. I think I first saw them maybe a month ago when I received a catalogue from the big Case store in Mo. The series is 8 patterns and the number that they are now showing at the big Case store is fewer than that. I have bought mine from Mike at CK. I now have 3 of the 8 in the series. There is nothing on the blades to indicate that they are SPECIAL or Limited Edition.

Heading to my wife's office Christmas party tonight. Carrying a Case White Sparxx Peanut...with its white scales and red shield, it just seemed appropriate! (sorry, no picture!)

After looking through the Cult archives, I realize that I am four days premature in this update. However, I am sitting at school after exams with nothing to do, so here it goes. On May 4, 2016, I received a much anticipated package of a Case Chestnut Bone CV Peanut. I posted this picture to introduce the little guy with the intention of carrying this every day, (possibly augmented when I feel like it).

After nearly seven full months of daily carry, the little Peanut has been through a lot. She has changed, gotten some scratches, and has picked up quite the patina. Here she is, in all the glory of patina, pitting, and scratches.
