I picked this Schrade-Walden up on an whim a couple of weeks ago pretty cheap. Although decently described, it was in worse condition than I thought when I received it. It had a "kink" in the main blade and the pen blade had zero snap. After flushing it with WD-40 and mineral oil the pen blade finally had a little snap. The main blade did have excellent snap. Brought out a file and the cubic boron Sharpmaker triangle progressing all the way to the ultra-fine rods getting the main (and pen) blade in shape. Then some Flitz and another flush with WD-40/oil and here we are. I think I am going to start carrying this as a secondary knife.

Gary mentioned the swedges on the AGR Peanut. I've only seen one Case that could match the swedges and I had to have it.

I don't know how I missed this post. That Pinched Peanut is a beauty. Is that the Quince wood offering? I really like that shield too. Case did a nice job on that one. I do like the as ground blades they're using on some models.

Yes it is the Quince. I hand picked this one at the AGR store. It had the best walk and talk of the bunch I inspected.

I've never seen another Case peanut like this one. I did quite a bit of online searching after seeing this one posted by ~P. I never found another like it, but fortunely it eventually made its way to me.

I somehow lost my CV Peanut...will probably pick up a Chestnut to replace it soon.

Just over a year since I received this little gem.

Thanks again Paul!

I MAY have found the One, Gents!

Got a catalog from that Case Dealer today and saw that Case has a pair of really interesting handle options now. The first one is a handle option that I've heard other mention a desire for: Jigged Natural Bone. Very nice looking in the mock up picture, and if anyone is looking to try their hand at dying a knife, you couldn't ask for a better canvas. They've done white synthetics recently, but I don't recall undyed bone handles.

The other is Prime Stag in a bare head pattern with the single bolster being threaded. This one will probably be really hit or miss, but I can definitely see a possibility for gorgeous and unique Stag. If my nearest Platinum Dealer weren't 4 hours away, I'd be swinging by to hand pick one of these out.

Whatcha think, folks?
