Cult of the Texas Jack; why should the peaNUTS get all the glory

pfffft, that's just wishful thinking. The blades are made of the same material
that being said, its the classic boxing matchup. If the texas jack man can keep things at range where he has the longer tool, he can slice and dice the peanut man apart
but if the peanut man gets inside the texas jack man's reach he can do horrific damage with his little blade.

Ahh the sweet science meets the slicey science :D

Same steel, but every peanut owner can get that thin blade so sharp, it just goes through steel like warm butter. ;)

some irreverent observations
A Peanut is a Jack, but a TJ is not a nut.
peanut primary is same thickness as peanut pen
TJ primary is thicker stock than TJ pen

The primary blade on a peanut is as thin as the pen on a TJ.

the TJ primary is both longer and thicker than on a nut
short and skinny vs fat and long... hmmm TJ for the win.. LOL!

GEC Charlow pen as thin as peanut, primary thicker than both Peanut and Boker. Boker pen and primary, both matching stock thicker than Peanut but thinner than GEC primary, peanut pen and primary both matching thin stock

i just picked up a case texas jack. nothing special. just the black synthetic handles. SS STEEL. i bought it cause it reminded me of the cheap imperial knives i carried as a kid. i remember dad taking me to sears to get them. cheap ($6-$8) but took a wicked edge.

nothing cheap made about this knife tho. this is the the first case ive ever owned and i have to say im really impressed. good strong spring and no blade play at all. nice strong work knife. seems like the perfect size. i think they have a return customer.

Yowza! The jigging is what blows me away on that Bose, and that recurved clip. But that jigging...

Well - there´s the existence of the Cult Of The (Mighty) Peanut as well as the Cult Of The (Also Mighty) Texas Jack

My EDC setup some days ago :)

outstanding!
as soon as my black pioneer arrives, i'll be rocking the same combo at least for awhile ;)

Yeah - it´s a great combo indeed. I also got a black Pioneer for my son; it will be his first pocket knife :D

nice shot!
liking the contrast with the bright red strawberries and white floor/tabletop
purty TJ

Thank you sir....white cutting board, and my favorite camera, the iPhone 4s; my Digilux hasn't been out of its box in beaucoup months.
