CupidGanzaaa 2021 Pricing and Ordering Procedures!!!!

At least you got a chance. I had my head up my rear and didn’t pay attention to the date. Was just going to peruse them one more time today when ... FML ‍

Sometimes I wonder about myself. Guess I didn’t need any new ones.
Don’t take it too hard, I’m so scattered these days it’s a wonder I had the focus to just get the email drafted.

next time

yea empty handed too, I guess my e-mail from central Europe is traveling a bit longer. It's like starting couple miles behind the starting line. But I will continue my search for Alpha Regulator.
I’m in Southern California, so not quite the same handicap, but I wondered if the relative distance mattered. Where are you n Central Europe are you? I wrote my dissertation on East European dissent between 1968 and 1989, and studied in Prague for a short time (Charles University).

better luck to us both next time

Im from Slovakia so neighbor country to Czech Republic nowadays. Back during the occupation we were one country as Im sure you are aware. But I admire your work its the part of history that new generations should learn about as most people leave history in the past.

Agreed--so much to contemplate. I was there back in 1998, working on my first Masters. I had a great time, traveled throughout Europe, and learned so much. I miss the "old world."

Speaking of history.... I was in Prague in the summer of '89. No nightlife that I could find, but I sure did enjoy the beer at U Fleků that came out to maybe 25 cents a half liter at the unofficial exchange rate. (That was the waiter's exchange rate. I'm sure the rates were better from the guys on the Charles Bridge.)

Man, you were there in the mix of it!? The Velvet Revolution was building up!

Well the prices have increased since then that is for sure but the quality and taste of the czech beer remains. Last time I visited small town Kutna Hora back in July 2019. There are small traditional pubs where we used to hang out with buddies from time to time enjoying great food, excellent steaks and of course couple of czech beers to wash it down. Just writing about it make want to get rid of this plague even more so that we can travel there and joy these pleasures of life again.

Judging by the response to the Prototype Viking, there’s a ready made audience. I’ve got a “fair amount” of standard blade shaped Bussekin, so The Warship is unique enough for an obvious purchase.
