I am a bit surprised the B8 didn't come in under $300 since the B10 was $337 when new: ( http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...sic-10-LE-Special-Pricing-and-Specs-YOWZA!!!! )...a little bummed about that...

Of course with things like the SWATmandu, another Crusader TGLB, the MOABOLO?!?!?! I can't say I'm that bummed by the higher than expected B8LE price ;)


Going to have to do some serious money scrambling between now and Tuesday!

That has been the pattern before. Expect usually stalwart BladeForums here to shudder under the immense pressure of the hog stampede that will take place - you may have trouble getting the site to load. Expect otherwise nice friendly folk to announce, ten minutes in, that they "definitely saw the GO post on one of the other sites, or maybe lit up in the sky". Expect to see ersatz "GO posts" from suspiciously new forum accounts like "Jeery Buuse" or "Geri Buzze". Expect "helpful" folk to announce that the Ganzzza has actually been moved Thursday or that the "GO post" will now be given on the Golf Channel. Expect the skies to darken and the ground to shake...

This bunch is a tricksy lot.

Read very carefully the instructions, and the bit about the fallback time / emergency plan, and be very clear on what hour is selected in Busse's Timezone and how that corresponds to your Local Timezone.

It's almost more fun to sit one of these out and watch from the sidelines. With some popcorn.

It has to have the talon hole. That's what makes this a Busse Combat knife. It's cool how they kept the distinctive Swamp Rat shape of the choil and guard, with that bit of a peak, and added the talon hole to make it a Busse. Plus, the fuller makes it for me as to styling.
