Custom Knife Factory - Anton Malyshev Elf

" the prices in Russia are so much lower " actually not. they are tied to USD or the way they call it "conditional units" (the use of $ is illegal there). so the prices in fact are astronomical on the domestic market there, this is because ruble is crushing down and the salaries do not go up as much (or at all, i don't know). also there is no dealer markup here; for example CKF sells their knives in Russia and here for the same price (in fact, here they are cheaper as shipping is free, saving $35). also Shirogorov has a nice presence on Instagram and they promptly answer questions if posted on one of their feeds

Hi everyone!

On behalf of Shirogorov Brothers Workshop I can state that there are no agreements between SBW and CKF nor SBW gave any permission to CKF for using ideas or design elements belonging to SBW intellectual property.

Im not talking CKF knives. Im talking shirogorov. When they first came out they were $400 production knives. When TNK became a dealer for them in the states you couldnt touch one for under $800.

What about Reate? did they get permission to use or make a multi row bearing system? And did SBW get permission to use the axis lock on its folders?

You may have a grudge with Russia that's understood. But you obviously did not bother to read the rules before deciding to use this forum to wage your probably not so personal war, spread lies and bend facts to push your agenda. Sorry, but I am flagging your post for the moderator!

Please don't hate me! I know buying clones doesn't sit well with collectors, but I saw a Decepticon 1 clone on ebay and thought, I can do something with that. When your on a fixed income, you gotta do what you gotta do. So I bought it, this is the result of hours of hand sanding with 360 grit wet/dry and anodizing. What do you think?

I like it and have been tempted to buy one several times, but I just can't, I don't like the design, too complicated. And I am trying my best not to support knock offs.
