Custom Knives At Work.

Hog hunters, hunting hogs.
One in Australia and one in Sweden.

Here's one from a good customer in Sweden.
Before anyone wigs out and starts chanting about the small moose, in Sweden they have such a moose population explosion in some areas, that hunters are required to shoot a certain number of "lesser" animals - cows and calves - BEFORE!! they can shoot a bull.
So, here's one of mine at work yesterday:

I'm a very part-time maker, but I couldn't resist...

Here's a hard workin' SOB knife that went to NZ. My client was thrilled that he was able to clean and debone 2.5 red deer before it needed sharpening.
That's a LOT of cutting- I couldn't believe it myself, til I remembered that he's a veterinarian, so probably precision work without a wasted move. Perhaps more a testament to him than me :)

In my customer's words: "Karl, I had a successful Elk hunt again in New Mexico. Used the ILISOTA Brute De Forge to do the honors. I love that knife! "

Hunting season almost here. Hope to send pictures of elk in Colorado next month and elk in Idaho in Nov. Gary
