Custom Knives At Work.

One of the best thread of this forum indeed.
In the custom knife world too often our hard sweated "childs" become safe queens which never happens to see a sharpening stone!!! And that is a pity considering all our efforts and dedication to the steel. ;) This thread works in the opposite direction, YEAH!!!

Customer supplied pic, his girlfriend's buck. Knife is my Paisano model: raindrop damascus, brass bolster and mammoth ivory handle.

I missed the morel's this year. The deer beat me to them. I wish I was in Ozarks next week to hunt Easterns. Some guys have all the fun.

I have a few "field testers" of my knives with the understanding that they should send me pictures of game they take and the knife used for the processing. My brother, Joe, is one. Turkey season is his favorite time of year. The knife is a small EDC that I made him from 15N20 Raker (Ray Kirk) steel. Combined with Brown Micarta, it's not afraid of getting dirty. I imagine he will send me another set pretty soon.
