...too many people are afraid of that patina. I LOVE the way that looks! Good stuff, Ben.

I've got a handful I'm going to make - in non-stainless steels - coming up, and dammit someone better buy them! I'm keeping at least one of them, if it kills me.

If they don't sell (HA!), my test kitchen is always open. ;)

My oldest really wants to hunt next year, so we went out in search of a critter together this year to get him exposed and hopefully get one on the ground. He spotted a little buck that I managed to shoot. I had a 1080 hunter that I'd messed up on while trying to shape the handle and guard-dinged the spine. I never finished up the guard and handle, but the blade was done. So, I decided to take it with us. This was the first time I got to use one of my knives on big game and it was pretty cool.

The knife did well and so did my son. Making a knife with him this winter for next season.

15n20 and Osage knife that helped out with some Rainbows my kids caught this summer. They loved getting to eat what we caught.

Happy thanksgiving to everyone.

It's still pretty new, so I'll post pics again in a few weeks to see how the patina continues to change with use...

This is a cool thread.
This first picture is my son's deer with the knife I built for him. I built the knife and made the paper patched bullets he shot in his muzzleloader to get the buck.

This is a series of pictures from my Muzzleloader Antelope hunt. I built the knife, the gun, the shooting sticks, and the paper patched bullets.

^^^Wow! So cool :). That's one heck of an antelope! And how cool to have all that gear made by you putting meat in the freezer. Thanks for sharing.

You ain't a nice person, post them now! ;)

Can't wait for more after this "teaser" of that beautiful piece of art. Anything to say about it? What's it's story?

Thanks a lot, you got a really neat blade! And thanks for sharing.

Had to do emergency repairs. As I was running out the house I forgot my multitool but at least had my Model 1 and Busse Basic 4 with me. Both suffered damage cutting wire but they got the job done. Chips and dents will be sharpened out as time progresses. Snapped the tip on the Model 1 twice on some screws.
