Custom Knives At Work.

No action shots, but this David Farmer L6 drop point has cleaned a half dozen whitetails over the last 3 seasons.

The next Generation Menefee-He found a blade in the corner that was messed up colored on the handle and he self proclaimed himself a knifemaker.

Sharpen her a Lick

Great knife and story.
I hope you had a good Rocky Mountain Oyster cookout?

I thought they would, but nope. I thought one guy was saving them, but he just told me he was putting them outside the corral so we would not be stepping on them.

My wife helped round them up on horseback, which was a real treat for her. We worked from about 8am till about 4 in the afternoon without a break. I took the boy scouts, the wife, and my two boys. We are friends with the ranchers, and will be doing it again!

This is my wife in the green sweat shirt, tagging an ear.

Other son on an adventure. I saw my wife go racing over in a panic, because he was screaming. He fell in a big mud wallow, and came out covered in little craw dads! My wife thought he was under attack by coyotes, or a mountain lion.

One of the scouts.

They were pretty tired, and beat up after, and one stuck him self with that big needle the girl is using in that pic.

That is just a really cool set of photos.
I'm glad you posted that.
Thanks.
In fact, I didn't even really expect so much participation when I started this thread. I was just going to showcase one of mine in use.
I'm glad everyone has pitched and hope there are others that will continue.
It's a great way to show off the knives we make, collect and enjoy.
Thanks, guys.
And for those of you holding out - just toss one up here.
Would be a great reference thread in years to come.

I hope you don't mind me posting these here. They are not "custom", but I did make these from S30V blades I bought.

(Sorry, don't have any high-end customs)

I just wanted to add that this thread is all 12 kinds of WIN!!!

Very cool thread. Nice pair of wood ducks Karl. They are showing up around here now. They will all be in full plumage soon.
