CUSTOM! One of a Kind Becker (Pic Heavy)

I've heard the ground out portion on the front end of the bushtool is meant to contour to the leg while using the bow drill notch in the handle. I don't know how much better it would make batoning. I think the stock shape of the BK2 serves mighty well. Still, I find it to be a cool look. Nice job with that, may have to try my first micarta slabs with that tiger stripe.

Yeah, the notch on the front of the blade was meant so the knife would work better as a bow drill bearing block but since this knife lacks a divot there wasnt any point mentioning it. Btw, this is tiger G-10 not micarta...I've never seen tiger micarta (sorry but it bugs me when people confuse the two). Thanks for looking and sharing your opinion.

I think the knife looks great. You really do good work! I also like the scales and am tempted to give it a go at making a pair for one of my knives someday. Is the G-10 particularly hard to work with?

I don't like it. But I think its looks really well made.

You are a very talented guy! Maybe someday you will remember us crusty old Beckerheads and give us a discount at your custom shop.

I'm still drooling over your BK 13. That is the coolest Remora Ive ever seen.

thats sweetly executed! I kinda like it, mean looking SOB anyway!

those handles are phenomenal BTW, the 2/14 combo just looks awesome. I need to order some G10

Better to be making frankenbeckers then what a lot of kids ur age are doing! Two thumbs up

Nice job cam! It's good to hear that your still in to knife making. It does almost look like a habilias, which it makes it BADASS!!!! So any way good job from Ruben !

Good stuff man. I know that's how Mr. Becker started out by modding and reshaping knives. I say if its something that is usefully and custom made to your own needs and wants have at it !!! Oh and I really like the way those G-10 handles look on the 14.

No, G-10 is a piece of cake, micarta is the hard one.

The handles are something that I actually dont like haha, the 1/4" G-10 I used feels to thin on this knife, but for pure looks I do agree with you when the knife is viewed from the front and you can see that tiger pattern come on. Cheers Thrill.
