CUSTOM! One of a Kind Becker (Pic Heavy)

I don't like it. But I think its looks really well made.

You are a very talented guy! Maybe someday you will remember us crusty old Beckerheads and give us a discount at your custom shop.

I'm still drooling over your BK 13. That is the coolest Remora Ive ever seen.

LOL! You still remember that remora? Thanks for looking B.

If I had the moneez I would modify the living hell out of my BK2; this is awesome. Bravo sir!!

Yeah, the notch on the front of the blade was meant so the knife would work better as a bow drill bearing block but since this knife lacks a divot there wasnt any point mentioning it. Btw, this is tiger G-10 not micarta...I've never seen tiger micarta (sorry but it bugs me when people confuse the two). Thanks for looking and sharing your opinion.

Sorry couldn't tell, just assumed micarta. The pattern could as easily be micarta as G-10... not sure why this is a bother but apologies.

Hell yeah, I like it man. Reminds me of a Habilis. Interesting shape, but I don't understand the reason for the shape.

I should read more, maybe that's why I'm paid hourly. I just read Cam's response to the purpose of the blade design.

It should be cheap as hell for you if you live in the states, if you have a spare 30 bucks go for it.

Yeah, but I am referring more so to grinding the handle to my liking without the access to proper tools :p
I should have specified, sorry my friend! I wish I had a Gen1 so I could make a hidden tang and shape it to fit my hand perfectly. I may just get a Mora bank and do a 'crashcarta' handle wrap to satisfy my fix..

I don't want to link across forums out out respect, so I can't show you what I am aiming for until I borrow a pic or something. I want to grind the handle similar to yours but make it as straight as possible, thin out the grind (maybe a full-height convex), FS notch or square spine, jimping, and make the scales slimmer than the stock scales out of micarta or something (damn my small girly hands!).

Now I am thread jacking, I'll stop now!

I think I get the general idea of what your trying to say but a FHC on a BK-2? yeesh...good luck without power tools. Btw, how small are your hands? I've got small hands and even this BK-2 is actually to small for me. Also, your not thread jacking (whatever the hell that is) I'm happy to answer any questions from anybody (within reason)...If you took the time to write it I'll take the time to reply back). If you get a mora blank, make your own micarta or use some scrap wood to make a cool ass custom scandi...like this:

I appreciate it very much! Post #6, the middle Mora would be what I am shooting for http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/857433-Lets-see-some-Mora-mods!
It wouldn't be that hard at all, I just have to secure all of the materials first.

My hands are quite small; The width of my palm is like 3.25" by about 4" lengthwise measuring to the furthest point possible. The BK2 is just to big for the hand. I think that it is the handle width more than the thickness. My condor Bushlore is great in the hand and is almost perfect, but it isn't as comfy as my Ka-Bar USMC handle due to the handle shape. Hence, the USMC is my favorite and most comfortable handle so far.

As for the lack of power tools, mods can be a PITA , but I make due. It have convexed it already, but only up to the flats. I saw somewhere that it took a guy i think ~9 hours to get his BK2 full-height with sandpaper

If I can figure out a way to do these mods, I have a piece of kydex that has its name on it :D

Wow, full height in 9 hours?! Took me 9 hours just for the rough reprofiling on MY BK-2...Good job to that guy in that case. Yep, that middle mora looks cool, looks like a midnight version of "real tree camo" on the handle. Would love to see some pics if you ever get it done. Thanks man.

That is a nice set. I saw the 14 in another thread and the scales turned out great on that one too. Someone get this kid more knives so we can see what he comes up with next!

Thanks person who's breath may smell of cat food :D, I would not be able to repay people enough though if they started sending me their knives and let me customize them (with the owners input of course)...Would be a dream come true (That line sounded so gay, "dream come true"). Thanks for having a look.
