You sure can't go wrong with those Ohta's. I'm up to two now and always on the look-out. Until that time I added my first custom peanut to the stable. Chamblin 154cm - from the Case pattern. Love the b&w stag, and notice the sexy swedges. Bob Neal, hope you don't mind my using your pics. Haven't shot any yet as I just picked this up. I've found Bob to be a terrific source for my addiction. Whoops! I've spilled the beans on my contact...

Great score. I was admiring that one but it was a little too small for me. But it is a beauty.

very nice...

been getting update picts from Ken as my slip is being built...be done soon. Can't wait , can't recall when I was this excited to get a new knife. :)

My only three custom slip joints so far. I'll start off with my latest. A Joe Allen serpentine jack I acquired from VCM3. Vince told me this was a great knife and he was right. I've been carrying it almost daily.

Next up are two Mike Aldorf knives. A teardrop jack with worm-eaten bone and a doctor pattern with jigged bone.

Dabnabit Gus, Great Score be sure and have it in pocket when walking around.

Be on the lookout for pickpockets, I know one is coming.:)

Jim,

Not sure if you have had a chance to handle Ryuichi's work, but it is exceptional in every way. I will be glad to introduce him to you so you can get on his list. Right now I think it is a little over three years, but very much worth the wait.

This is the 4.5" shield-less sibling to Vince's knife by Joe Allen:

And I've got to agree with Vince, Joe does make a fine knife!

Joe's knives always look good to me. I am hoping to see more of his and Jerry Halfrich's knives next week.

So, do either of you wish me to bring my only Halfrich so you can CE & CF it with others I am bringing?
Jim

No offer of trade here, not sure I ever posted in this thread my Halfrich, so here she is, as requested. Not sure of the steel but it does have #5 stamped on tang.
