That Ron Newton Gunstock - what's the treatment on the springs? Are they gold plated, or ? I assume the scales are ram's horn; up to now,I haven't found that stuff appealing, but those look really nice.

Not a bad show . I also got a few more modern ones from Thad Buchanan, Phil Boguszewski, and Kansei Matsuno.

Been playing with my camera today, just trying to learn how to take better pics. This is the Richard Rogers sowbelly that Blues let me pick when he won the drawing chance. Thanks Elliott. I have a lot of Richards knives, but this one is extra special.

I've been angling more and more toward knives in the 3" - 3 1/4" range lately. Here's my latest from Ryuichi Kawamura. Photo and knife courtesy of Gary Levine at levineknives.com. Check him out...

Two ATS-34 blades 2 1/4" and 1 1/2", closed 3 1/4" SS bolsters and shield, Old Remington bone scales. It's a good pic, but not half as beautiful as the real thing. Top shelf f&f. And don't cha know I love a wharny.
