I would like to think that I speak for all of the people who LOVE the Fire but are squeamish about getting one due to local laws.

I truly apreciate your enthusiasm

The fire really is a fantastic knife

Matt's truly a one man band

He is trying

They are coming the parts are done

Shoot me an email sometime

We will talk

I've dealt with Matt before; he's a great man. I really want to see what these flippers look like. I felt the detent on the Fire is a little weak, but it makes sense for an Auto. Hopefully it's stronger on the flipper, but I'm sure he knows what he's doing

The detent on my fire was extremely positive.

Agree 100%. I've had my Fire with me everyday for the last few months and this knife is rock solid. In fact, I left it on the hood of my truck, drove away, realized what had happened two hours later, went back found it laying in the road in the open position.
I can't say how many cars ran over it, but other then a very small nick in the blade, it's perfect.

That is an impressive story Eric

I had a fellow at my house today that has my original Fire

It is about 3 years old

It was my EDC for awhile and is his for the last couple of years

I whisked it on a jewel stix and lightly lubed it and the thing was as good as new

BTW I should have pics of the new flipper BH the end of the month :)

Hopefully it will be unveiled at the NY/NJ show

Thanks for the update on the flipper buddy....looking forward to that badboy. :)

At the show with Matt now

Regretfully Matt did not get the flippers ready in time for the show :(

He sold out of well over a dozen Fires in just a few hours

Sorry I know a lot of folks where expecting pics. Hopefully soon

In the very last seconds of that video, you can see the one that I purchased. Stonewashed blade, blue hardware, CF scales, LSCF backspacer. The knife is beautiful and I could not be more happy with this year's purchase. I love the attention to small details on this knife. Matt was nice as hell with all my questions, me coming by three times and checking out the knife before I actually bought it, and even putting it off to the side for a moment while I ran to the ATM. You want to know how much I like it? Yesterday, when I got home, I put my RJ Martin Overkill back in its pouch. It hasn't been in that pouch in a loooong time.

Big thanks and I am so glad you are pleased

I have been EDCing one for 3 + years now and it has been worry free

It is just an exercise in what a folder should be
