CUSTOM WSK's????

I get most of my steel from J&L supply and Travers tool. If you got through a knife makers supply, they usually charge more.
 
Heres a 10.5 inch WSK i finished recently for a customer. The size acctually works well. The customer and I were both very pleased with the way it turned out. I did a antiqued finish on it as well.

Keep in mind he will have a massive wait list and you mst be patient with him . . I just got word he is ready for mine and I 've been waiting over a year.

He may also take a while to respond to your e-mail . .so be prepared to wait.

well It's not my place to say where in the wait list you will sit, but it could take even longer for you to get it than a year. As far as how it feels . . well I said that I just got word from him that he is ready (to make) for mine, I haven't sent him the money yet, still saving, but I will report back here as soon as I get it.

Overall I assume I would have waited about a year and a half to get mine .. but that's just a quess.

Also you will need to talk prices w/ him . .not allowed nor appropriate for me to disscuss.

I was lucky. I got in early. The first batch of 7. mine was the last one in the batch so with the first one he made for Myaka mine was #8. my wait was about 6 months only. not bad at all. He is hard to keep in touch with. I think he is so busy that he lets his e-mail build up then checks them all at once. not really sure just a thought! However you guys will love it!!! if you like the Beck, this is as close as youre going to get, "I think". Rogers work is top notch all the way. The balance is a little forward for a good thrust when chopping! get your name on the list and just hang in there:rolleyes:
