Customer Service a Joke!!

Everytime I've had to deal with CS it was because my ZT and kershaw broke a torsion bar after years of hard use. I buy from KAI because of your CS. I can use my knives like they are supposed hard and for cutting just about anything. When they send out my parts it is usually fast and more than I asked for. Just because someone pissed in your cup doesn't mean you have to drink from it. Handle it like a pro and send the person on his way if he doesn't like it tell him to take his business elsewhere There are plenty of us here to take his place. Thanks for the GREAT CS and great product. Don't change a thing. IMHO.

I've only had one occasion to send a knife in for repair, and this was/is my only *suggestion* (as opposed to complaint) I'd have too. An email would've just been comforting, being as how I get all curled up in the fetal position whenever one of my knives has to spend any time away from home. As it turned out, I got my knife back one day before the 6-week period they ask you to wait before contacting them was up. The email would've been redundant to what they already told me I guess, but still, six weeks is kind of a long time without hearing anything from a vendor that has your merchandise.

All in all, a minor thing for me though. Just a suggestion, not a complaint.

Everything can use improvement. But your CS is top notch, among the best. The only thing I could say would be an improvement would be to offer free knives. :p
 
One time I asked for a free knife. Never got said knife. What gives? What a joke this "customer service" is! :rolleyes:
 
LOTS of people get free knives. They must have lost your email. Write to Thomas personally and curse him out! :p
 
THE best CS i've encountered so far. Very friendly reps and excellent service overall. The CS is one of the reasons I love Kershaw/ZT so much. Can't imagine why the guy would have such an issue....unless he did something dumb, broke his knife, and was told that breakage wasn't covered by the warranty. :D

See, this was TW's secret plan.. For all those people who spoke highly of Kershaw's CS, Thomas was gonna personally send us a free knife. :D

i only had one run in with CS and it was great,,Had a scallion i bought used and the torsion bar went, sent it in to request repair and a blade re sharpen,,,a new knife came back!! I can not complain about that,,,thats great service to me!!

They have always took care of any problem that I have had with my Kershaws which I must say has been very few considering how many of them I've owned over the years.
 
Person must have gotten up on the wrong side of bed and then had someone piss in his cornflakes. Kershaw CS is top notch in my book. Anyone that says bad things about Thomas W. should drawn and quartered.
 
I've always had a great response from your customer service. I've only ever needed to call them twice for some torsion bars and a third time to ask a question about something. Never had a problem, keep it up!
 
I bet someone is jealous because they sell so many knives. CS has always been top notch to me. One of the reason I like buying ZT's.
