Here's a quick mod I did to my mora companion it looks a lot better now cause the patina evened out a bit and I got the rust off . First mod ferro rod on sheath second mod 5 stage patina 3rd mod file back of spine for ferro rod

I stripped what was left (it wasn't much!) of the coating on my 511 and cold blued the blade plus enlarged the choil.

I enlarged the choil on the zt and added a very slight swedge to make it pointier... :thumbup:

What are you using for a ferro rod holder?

I had a old pen so I cut it in half wrapped it in duct tape more on one half to compensate for the ridge and filed the tips it worked great the ferro rod is from schrade. Then I super glued it on then I put hot glue gun all around it

the knife that was once sharpened to like a 40 degree per side angle is now 10 degree. I kinda reground it it as you can see it's not a recurve anymore.
