I agree with NYO. I've posted a couple of benign comments - one a joke and one a suggestion from a fellow web guy - and gotten infractions. There have been a few mean spirited posts but the majority of the people here are good guys bantering while we're patiently waiting for a turn at one of Rick's excellent knives. We understand the situation and I don't think any of us hold it against Hinderer at all. It just shows that there are a ton of people out there that love the product and want a chance to buy it. No need to get all pissy.

It looks like people are catching a lot of infractions for posting things that don't seem very inflammatory or rude. Not all of them, but I'm seeing a lot of red chiclets underneath posts where I'm scratching my head as to what they did wrong. That kind of moderation can make this forum feel unwelcoming and more like a social club. No offense intended at all, just noticed that and it sort of peeved me. Hopefully I'm not next on the infraction list for this one. Most of the comments (including this one) are directly related to this thread, and while a (very) few are worth infracting, some are just normal comments.

This Forum has no problem with its "Wecoming Nature" Many of the comments here today were completely uncalled for and multiple requests for them to stop were issued. As far as your approval or understanding of that fact - no comment.
The RHK Ranch does not need I.T. help from this thread's participants. Dicussion of pricing and Dealers activity as well as many other facets of forum conduct are clearly spelled out in the referenced stickies.
As always, for those who want to participate in a positive and constructive way - Great.

I.T. advice, discussion of pricing and Dealers and Business Models, How to do it "Better" next time and the out right attacks and Trolling - NO.

Capt cook it is apparent that you know nothing about Rick, or Rob. They are good salt of the earth people. They are always a pleasure to deal with. Rob has bent over backwards to help me out on numerous occasions and im sure thst he has done the same for many other people here. Try giving them a call or emailing them sometime and you will see. Their customer service and products are second to none. That's why they have such a cult following and that is why people keep coming back. Do your homework before you spout nonsense about good people.

There is no excuse for keeping your fan club up all night just to hand them a website debacle. I for one have moved on and watching your aftermarket and dealer retail market begin to crumble I think this is the beginning of a well deserved trend. Thanks for the spectacle.

i joined this forum with the sole purpose of locating and buying a hinderer xm-18. when i saw they were up for sale today i was thrilled but it seems the whole site is down. this is understandable and i know rob and rick do their best. i will keep trying every few minutes as should everyone else. my fingers are still crossed, and if i come up unlucky then i will be joining my local law enforcement agency!!
