Typing is difficult and yes I am hammered on meds.

Got my thumb crushed in a gear today. Took them 6 minutes with a cutting torch to free me. The whole end of my thumb is destroyed, but will mend.

Dang, Moose, sorry to hear it.

Yes, it will mend. :thumbup: I took the end of my right thumb off on my little table saw in September, and it looked BAD. The ER doc & nurses did some great work, and with the right types of meds, I healed in two weeks. You almost can't tell there was an injury there.

Yours sounds worse, but the docs today can do amazing things. Thoughts & prayers from Concord.
