I have an older Remington TargetMaster that I wld love to scope. My great uncle bought it new in 1942 from a local general store. It is very accurate (for a sporter, prolly not target rifle accurate)...... it shoots better then I can with irons. But I also dont wanna drill and tap a heirloom rifle. I been debating this in my head for a couple years lol

I've handled one of those. Lovely little rifle. It has the nice rear elevator peep at the back of the action?
Don't ruin it. Only one stock bedding bolt as I recall. with peeps you oughta be able to hit anything you can see once you get the elevation right.

That's disgusting. :D

Heheh.
ok, ok, the tools required to shorten the barrel combined with the new front sight cost half as much as the gun itself...
But now I can re-crown just about any .22!

Note: for all the love I have for that rifle, I've never shot a single rabbit with it (never see 'em when totin'), and squirrels always seem like the boobie prize.

Well, the tornadoes missed us, but it was an interesting night of storms nonetheless.

Mine doesn't have a peep. Wish it had a peep. That would be excellent....but alas, it's peepless

Just woke up. Went for a hike in the Smokies yesterday. Great day, all the way.

Beautiful, Moose. I envy you guys that aren't getting rained on. It's rained every weekend here for the last month, but it's sunny during the week when I have to work. Stupid weather.

Yeah, my wife got back from Joplin on Friday, and we had to do soccer yesterday morning, after soccer, the day was SO GORGEOUS, we had to do something, so we loaded up and ran to the hills for some fun and vistas.

Sorry to hear about the weather, but its coming here, so, better to get in the woods when you can.

Mornin' all you suckers! How ya'll doing?

I won Clich's awesome BK-5 this morning. I have a Bk-17, AZWelke kydex sheath for it, Tommythewho wood scales for my BK-11, and two new pairs of boots coming in the mail. The sun just broke through the clouds, and I had homemade waffles for breakfast. My day is going great! :D

Woke up with my legs sore, my back is sore, and I have to go and clean some gear.

I couldn't be happier. :D My woman is back from a weeks worth of traveling, my weekend has been spectacular to say the least, and today is "lazy" day. The only things I have to do today, is go grocery shopping and my woman. :D

Other than that, its all gravy.

Spending a day getting to places like these, makes me euphoric for a while afterwards. Sore muscles is a small price to pay.

My morning is peachy.

I think my Dad is dropping off my birthday belt sander today....and he informed me yesterday he even thought to buy belts for it. So I will likely spend the afternoon sanding the crap out of stuff!!!

if it dont rain which it looks like it will.

Also...got rifles out....cleaned up, preparing to go make sure they're sighted in at 75 yards to MOS (that's Minute Of Sucker) sometime this week

That looks amazing Mix-Master-Moosen! Beautiful scenery, and awesome that your family is all into that too. Sucks about being sore, want some Vicodin? :D Trade ya for a Saber ground 16 without all the writing on it!

Post up in Tech Support, the questions posted over there get answers and the tech team might have answers for you.

Me, I'd say the usual stuff, reboot, update your browsers, try again.
