Take a look at some of Giedymin's Big Blades, member here,, he could make you something. I have one of his smaller blades, always tempted for a large one.

David is very easy to work and I hope you give him a shot at making your knife.

And David's that he has available is AEB-L steel. It's near Perfect steel for daggers. It's stainless, tougher than 3V steel, and it's going to get a very fine, very durable edge.
It, and "it's cousins" are some of my favorite types of steel.
David's looks like it would be good for slashing too. If you are wanting one now, That's going to be one of the best options.

It's much smaller, around 4-6" blade length.
Probably going to be one of the best EDC versions. Very comfortable, user friendly handle design. A User.

Yeah, if you can snag one in the few secs that one is offered on The Exchange b4 someone else buys it.

I've even openly begged for one on the CPK forum without success.

Just decided to add a WTB for a CKP Boot Dagger for this purpose too!!! LOL!!!

There are also the Gerber Mark 2, Command 2 or Guardian 2 daggers which are pretty easy to acquire on EB if you're not too fussy about condition.

I've got a Mark 2 & Command 2 but haven't yet been able to find a Guardian 2 in the style & condition that I like & for the price that I'm willing to pay.

Will post pics of what I've got later.

I started planning a dagger build a couple of years ago and looked to Coop’s 70-page sticky thread for inspiration.

I scanned through the pages, quickly grabbing any images of daggers that caught my attention. I also collected a few images from Bruce Bump’s website.



There are pieces from many different makers in no particular order.

Looking through the images as a PowerPoint presentation, it is amazing to me the number of variations found in each element of the dagger. First the blade...
