Good eye, my friend. We decided to have a little fun and build a single blade, (lockback), double, (Improved Muskrat), and triple, (Stockman), with various builds, bolsters, caps, and shields. Fun project with some Westinghouse micarta. Those are beauties! Who made those? They look like maybe Ken Erickson?

Erickson's knives stand out because he was not afraid to make any pattern and I could tell the lockback and stockman were made with the same tooling. Fantastic set! He needs to make knives again.Good eye, my friend. Outstanding work!! You are lucky to be his friend, Eliot!! And Vice-Versa!!Rhidian
He made this on a dare from an image I showed him from an old Remington catalog. No plans, no notes, no go-bys. I forgot about the dare I made, but he didn't and he surprised me with it months later when we met up in Atlanta.
All of his knives are very special to me, but this one is one of a few that are particularly so.

Was that name from a Holley catalog??That pattern, my lockback and the slipjoint versions, were Ken's "Michigan Pen".
Charlie, I honestly don't know...and if Ken told me, which he probably did, I don't recall. Was that name from a Holley catalog??
You're just a kid!!! I was 9-10 when you were born!!Charlie, I honestly don't know...and if Ken told me, which he probably did, I don't recall.
