More evidence- The auction of the same? Cold Steel Hatamoto that DANTHEMAN123 mentioned selling on ebay. . .
He "borrowed" a pic from Cold Steel for that auction as well, along with a couple crappy homemade pics. (write up was also copy and pasted.)

No, Gig and I go a long way back as far as not liking each other, don't mistake my "calling silly names" for anything other than mutual dislike for him.

The silence is deafening considering the person in question is active on BF alot. Ironic, the ebay seller also pulled his auctions just as this was exposed. Coincedences are just coincedences until they all start lining up.
Although i dont find the borrowing of pictures to be that big of a deal considering that these are semi-production knives and the pictures themselves arent the product, that doesnt mean its right to do.
Are people claiming that this guy was actually trying to scam people for thousands of dollars? Do we have proof that he doesnt have these knives? While the evidence is pretty nasty and all out there right now, im interested in more.
Surely there must be a way to authenticate IPs or some other piece of information to link the two...

this is my first view of the thread. now, this is the deal.
i bought a seb from neil.
i found that sebs in the uk are nearly twice the price as the states.
as the pound is high and i can get stuff shipped here within 2 days i decided to sell some.
i put them up on ebay for about £30 less than what they cost here and thats if they have them here atall.
i in no way inteneded to rip anyone off by stealing there money. when you buy from ebay your expect to wait at least 2 or 3 days for delivery, which is what i would have given.
as concerns the auction format, when i sell on ebay , and this is done by many people. if the item is new , i try and find a good picture on the net, whether its from the companies website or not.the same goes for a good description.
neils descriptions are litterally just part of the crk site and the dimensions/steel material etc.
i was in no way trying to look like i was in cahoots with neil or true north knives in any way.
i realised that there was a stamp on the pictures the next day after starting the auctions.
many people on ebay use the companies of which thyre products come froms pictures and descriptions. just cos ebay started off as a kind of do it yourself thing doesnt mean it still is.
it is now a shop. people sell things to people that they dont have 'in stock' everyday and its not illegal. some people sell loads of stock then make a big order once a week.
about the fresh from crk thing. i meant that the knife was untouched ie as it was whn it left chris reeve. not.. im a crk dealer.
i have also now found out that this crk thing is a sensitive issue as they told me today that the only place i can buy a knife with theyre blessing in framar,full stop. framar doesnt have much in stock. as it goesw he probably doesnt order certain sebs until hes been payed or until he has enough orders to satisfy.
not only that but he asks about twice the price for one. my prices werent cheap but they were cheaper.
at the end of the day , just cos i sell stuff on ebay, whther its crk,cold steel, cornflakes, it doent mean that i think im a dealer.
thats just lies. today, after having 5 messages on ebay and 3 on hotmail, as well as 3 yesterday, i told the guy who said something like
"your a thief,not cool!!"

i asked for help with my hatamoto but called the thread *******hatamoto
as i being new to the knife world must have subconciously assumed that as i was a knife forum that swearing was ok maybe.although i probably just didnt realise.(plus most forums which dont like swearing automatically block it)
i recieved an email asking me not to swear from the general.he also offerd his sharpening service for a fee.(which i didnt end up using, i used my lansky, this may have made him sour to start)
we were thn disscussing cold steel. i mentioned push blades, general asked me not to do so, so i said in my next post something like "ok no more talk of push blades, i heard those knives( i meant cs knives in the video (as that was the thread subect-th cs video) only cut because of the force applied not how sharp or stong they are"
this was taken as me carrying on talking about push blades ie knive which use force no sharpnesss- i meant all cs knives-not push blades
i was banned for a week.
strike 3- someone was selling a heavily used(year old para military for 2/3 the price new (not the point .) biut i had seen other disscusing prices openly, so i said that i would give him half and that i thought that the asking price was steep.
i was then informed on the rules via a link by another member so i edited my post but was too late and was banned for life.
i tried emailing the general but got no reply, so i pm'd him with these same sentiments and maybe some *shouting*. i set up another couple of accounts there since and was immediately banned sraight away .

You can take pictures and text from a manufacturer's website and use them to retail the manufacturer's products. You cannot take pictures and text from a dealer's website and use them to compete with him. That is stealing. There are copyright notices all over dealers' websites, on every picture and every page. They don't go to the expense and work of taking all those pictures and writing all that text just so you can steal it.
Selling knives you don't have is not very cool either. After you sell them you could find you are not able to get them in a reasonable time. When you buy a knife when do you expect to get it?
