I believe these are still being made and not yet shipped to KSF. I think Derrick mentioned that they will be receiving them later this week, and then they'll start shipping them out to us customers.

Can't wait to get mine. I ordered a black with black/green handles.
 
Still waiting on mine, too- I ordered on the 5th. There must be some sort of delay, these were supposed to ship last week, IIRC.
 
They were supposed to be here last week....but.....you know how delays are in the knife industry.

They are now coming off the line and should begin shipping to me today or tomorrow. That means back out to customers on Friday. Sorry for the delay, guys. It will be worth it. :)
 
That's sweet. Looks like they saw the success of the Izula
and decided to have their own take on it. I like how it has
the option of grips put on it and the colors are sweet.

I gotta stop frequenting this site before I become broke!
 
I believe Derrick (okbohn) helped design the knife with Mike Stewert of Bark River knives.

I think the Izula is a great knife. I think this one will be better.

Here's what I ordered from you (cut & paste,minus prices)
1 x Rat Cutlery--IZULA Neck Knife and Sheath--Desert Tan
1 x Bark River Knives: Bravo Necker - Tan
1 x 550 Paracord--100 ft--OD Green (Olive Drab)

Maybe I'll get the handle slabs & the leather later.I'm gonna mess around with the paracord for now.:)
I'm really looking forward to these.I may just have to get a red one later too,never had a red knife....intentionally:eek::D
 
I really don't like that kydex sheath. The thing is HUGE and I'd never use the firesteel holder.
Is there any chance of a smaller/slimmer sheath without the firesteel thing.
 
Right now it is the only one available. Twinblade on the forums is making a kydex sheath without the firesteel channel and so it may be more to your liking.
 
I'm pretty impressed after seeing the Youtube video of Sharpshooter felling a tree by point batoning this knife, and how well the blade held up. Can't wait to get my hands on one of these.

If you've read the past couple posts, nobody has one of these in their hands yet. Only the makers at Bark River have them, in fact, they are making them this week.

I'm sure we'll see a ton of reviews comparing the two.
