It's yours - still available. I prefer the Boye Dendritic Cobalt for a work knife over the Boye Dendritic Steel or this one would be mine . I think it is a beauty too. Oh well - you can't have them all (can you? ) I'd be interested in Matt's next piece with the smaller blade above, but likely beyond my means and/or need.

I have a Wilmont Grinder, I wonder if I could make a similar piece using my plunge grind attachment? Might try it.

That's a great story Matt you are very lucky buddy, his was one of the first books that I bought when I first started making knives. Those finished blanks are beautiful, great job as usual, but I have come to expect nothing less.

I thought it was neat that the handle texture is the shape of the Carbide structure. It's the little things that count.

Had it next to my bed and kept looking it to it over and over again.
I love how he makes decorative "rings" in his handles from stacked washers

Visited his shop last summer, David and Debbie were very hospitable. It was very enjoyable speaking with them. They have an incredible team too. I also have several of his knives ... I'm fond of cobalt alloys. Makes a good slicer. David is very creative, he built a lot of machinery in his shop ... Good times with excellent people.
