David Martin - RIP

David will be sorely missed. I didn’t know him personally, but I always enjoyed his posts regarding Buck knives and bird hunting. May God bless him and his family.

I’m sad to have just noticed this. I always enjoyed his posts, especially his tests on how many chickens he could dress with one blade steel to the next and just his helpful ways. R.I.P David. My sincere condolences to his family .

I was researching an older 110 earlier and both of my searched questions were answered by a couple of David’s old posts here. We never talked much but I always thought he was a pretty good egg.
He freely shared a lot of good reliable information. I’m really glad it’s just a search away. His being helpful lives on. R.I.P. David

Every time I see this thread head to the top of the forums it still catches me a bit off guard. I’m kinda surprised that nobody from Buck has commented. I know how busy everyone is but,

He set a good example for all of us. Kind generous funny hard working. Never met him, but will miss him forever.

I wonder if he knew how much he touched us all.

Sorry to hear this. I haven't kept up with the forum this summer and just saw this. Thoughts and prayers for the family. Though I only knew him through reading his posts on here, he seemed like a very kind and knowledgeable man. He will be missed.
