My face froze off partway due to the windchill so I back tracked, picked it up from where it fell, and took it slow the rest of the way.

Thankfully the roads are well plowed at the moment. The big snowfall this week was voluminous but mostly powder too, so the roads are pretty good.

Some pics from recent "Winter Storm Fern " . For us , the worst part was freezing rain , ice , tree damage , and power outages .







Others got hit harder than us , and we have at least a small generator to cope . And propane fired , infrared space heaters, that need no electrical .

Our local electrical co-op linesman are our heroes , got our power restored much sooner than I expected . Salute !
