Are you arguing against censorship that hasn't happened?

What is being questioned is the policy of forcing types of information into non-public forums. It is of no matter if threads have or have not been moved - what is important is that the current policy indicated that such will happen.

It seems that your opinion is that people should not discuss problems until they have surfaced. This is about the worst course of action you could take. It is of much greater sense to discuss *potential* problems and eliminate them before they can happen. Policy debates will go much smoother if they do not involve people who have actively been "wronged" by them.

OK Cliff you made your point. You do not want a post to be moved into a non-public forum. I don't think I remember saying I would do that but since I did not say I would not I will say it now. I will not move a post into a non-public forum.

Now the argument is over as that is the last and only point you where arguing

I don't have a problem with discussing problems, but I have a serious problem with creating controversy where there doesn't need to be any. As of yet, I fail to see any immediate pressing concern for this topic.

What has been solved here? Zero. All that's been done is that the waters have been muddied up and a few people feel that they have a right to get their panties in a bunch about business that doesn't concern them, and hasn't effected anyone.

You can argue all you want against censorship and suppressing information, and this that and the other, but until you've got something to show me, you are IMHO just looking for a reason to argue, and I don't appreciate that.

You want to discuss policy and whatif's, contact me offline. You want to discuss knives, then use the forums. But don't use the forums to stir up emotions and create a crisis when none exists.

I think this might have been dropped agter Mike's last post.

Sorry, didn't even think about that. Didn't mean to give the effect of saying "So there!", I just wanted my opinion made extremely clear.
