wow! A falcata!

Yes and a nice one. I was able to restrain myself for about 5 minutes before sending an email. Fortunately (for my credit card) it was already gone. But wow. So beautiful.

That model never really interested me till I realized it was full tang and saw Nasty chop a huge log in half with his

Holy Crap!

How long have we waited to see the Falcata return?

Thank goodness it's gone already....my hand was already halfway into my wallet.....yikes!

Hope to see more of those...Many more!

There went my chance to have a left hand Falcatta to go with the right hand one I have.

Hey guys...I have a Falcatta...and I'd have gone for this one...that's how sweet they are!

I can't believe it went for only $275...what a bargain!

As Hollow said...this is not a *replica*, mockup or wallhanger...this is the real deal. I *do* chop logs with mine and have no doubt of it's ability on the battlefield.

Whoever got it, please feel free to email me and we can discuss it one Falcatta owner to another...or for that matter, any of the what? Maybe 5 other owners? I know Keith had one at least at one time (leather scabbard)...who else? Sweet? Jake? Steve?

Why...we ought to have our own private forum...;)

Dammit!!!

I can thank my termagant shrew cursed micro-managing corrupted soul boss for missing both lunch and this by tasking me with frantic and needless make work for the last 4 hours. I know what I'd like to do about it, and it involves both the falcatta and lots of rope and screaming, but I guess I'll keep that one to myself.

Believe it or not the one I would have gone for is that new model by Sher. Same blade as the last two, but a fatter handle and a variation on both the bolster and the cho. Only one previous knife with that cho that Mike got I think in the form of a BAS.

Beautiful stuff today! Congrats to the lucky buyers.

Nasty, are the specs on yours the same? I have found that as the kami's reintroduce older models they tend to shorten/lighten them up a bit. I would guess that your original might be a bit heavier?

Thanks,

Norm
