Hi, I may be a newbie here and currently own only one HI Kukri, but I am confused. I have been tempted and even coaxed to buy some of these kukris from Yangdu's deals. But how am I supposed to ever get one if THEY ARE ALL SOLD BEFORE I CAN EVEN SEE THAT THEY HAVE BEEN POSTED!

I put some dings in the edge of mine put a few chops into a kevlar helmet, so maybe that's why mine hasn't cracked yet.

Fuller, the forumite who submitted the model for the falcata ended up wanting his with a decorative scabbard, as did a couple of others. The Hindu/Buddhist figures that the kamis put on them were considered quite beautiful, if not historically accurate. Since there'll more falcatas coming in the future, I'd suggest emailing Yangdu and asking for one with the standard scabbard.

That's a common experience. I came back to the computer today, signed on, and saw SOLD over almost all the Deals. That's par. Gotta be there and move quick,especially since so many newbies are just beginning to fill their khuk needs and are grabbing all the deals they can.

Expect a twin to post within a week. I don't think I've purchased anything previously rare or unique without one or two more popping up shortly afterward...which is cool, because common experiences are more interesting than just having something.

Hang on to your hats. There are more Falcatas coming. There's more of many special models coming no one has seen.
