My exact problem, I haven't had cable or satellite in over 15 years, but I do pay for Netflix instant watch. Easier to monitor what the kids are watchin'.

Yup. We don't want the sewer line from hollywood coming straight into our house. We need an extra strong filter nowadays.

We've got cable. matter of fact our internet service at home is thought our cable provider. But we're both in our mid/late 50's so no problems there. Oh and I don't think we've turned our TV on in about two weeks. The Internet though, Well I would probably have to take drugs if I lost it.;)

I have a hard time caring about TV. I used to like video games, but things like Wife and Kids got in the way.

Seriously though, I mostly just hate commercials trying to tell me about the next new pharmacutical and how it supresses one thing but causes rectal bleeding, ulcers, incontenence, erectile dysfuction, ect... It's seems to me the original problem would be way better.

We only have the TV cause the wife likes a couple shows and for the Weather and news. Other than that I could care less about it.
