likewise, the weather is getting cold too, which i enjoy for hikes. yeah, let's try and plan something for sunday if we can.

Rain or shine :) Any favorite spots people wanna hit up? I was thinking about doing the Berry Creek loop once again over in Big Basin, 10-11 miles, bout 2000ft total uphill. Beautiful trail, probably will be really nice with the rain. I'm probably way out of shape by now, so an early start would be nice.

Not familiar with the area. Is that 10-11 miles one way or total. How long of a hike is it?My physical condition is a bit off the last week or so. But I am pretty sure I would be ok.

I'm up for anything, but where exactly is this Berry Creek loop? I looked it up on Google and it's about 4 hours away, is that it? If so, is there anything closer?

Berry Creek loop is badass. I have to work a garage sale this weekend for my GFs dad but if I can get away on Sunday Im down.

Heres 2 pics from yesterday.

Sounds good, lets do Sunday!

Nate, nice pics! Can't wait to some hunting/fishing next year..

yo guys.. wish i could get out hiking on sunday too, but if you guys are going to be in the area, drop me a line and come by and check out the new pad.. we are only a few minutes from Boulder Creek..

Mr.pink- what do you think of that pack?? i like the looks of them and have been wanting to check one out in person..

Nate- great pics man.. its been years since i have duck hunted.. i miss it..

For $45 I think it's a great bag, http://m.botachtactical.com/kelty.html

Nice mix between a hiking and tactical bag, big enough for 1 day pack and loops built into the bottom to attach some straps for carrying whatever. Seems to built well too but won't know for sure until I get some good use out of it, but I'm very happy with it so far.
