My best guess is stabilized/dyed burl wood of some sort.... gorgeous as can be, whatever it is!

Holy shit! Best pic yet! That is dyed burl man, in fact I'll go out on a limb with double maybe even triple dyed- there's a lot of colors in there but it's definitely burl, which variety hard to tell. Hopefully Garth can chime in on some of these as he would know. That is freaking amazing! I like dark colors like that myself, that is beautiful dude. makes me drool just a bit in all honesty-hell of a scoreIn natural sunlight it really pops

That rmd is nice! I'm going nuts waiting on my delivery which got delayed a day until tomorrow. Won't know what I'm trading for or buying until it shows up.No keepers for me...but still good fun taking a gamble!
The nano (?) was the last that I opened and I was sure it was going to be a RMD...it was so light. Wrong!
When I first saw the length of the box, all I thought was "FMV 14!!" and started salivating! A Rucki never even crossed my mind! Cool blade.
That small fixed blade is more interesting that I thought it would be...very light, nimble in hand, pretty and strikes me as very versatile. The wood on mind is real nice.
