I gotta say that I'm shocked at the lack of 112s released this year. Buck left a lot of money on the table imo. You would think that the final 112 as BOTM in its anny year would be something other than ebony. Prob gonna pass on this and just pick up an extra $40 112 with the blade stamp. It's the coolest 112 they released this yearSame price as if you built the knife in the custom shop and added a brown leather sheath. This sheath is made in the USA, though, so that is a positive in my book. This one also comes with the pewter medallion. So, price seems about right and maybe even more reasonable than some other offerings.
However, I just can't get over the feeling that they kind of mailed this one in a little bit. I think most of us knew December was going to be a 112 to close out the anniversary year. I was just really hoping for something truly unique and a must have.
A decent BOTM but 750? I really have mixed feelings on a knife/112 that really is ordinary like this. If it was mirror polished YEA! If any kind of drop point YEA! If S45VN absolutely! Bareheaded I would order 2 .The 50th tang stamp is a plus along with the emblem but it just doesn't make me want to spend that much..But I have a few 112's.
yep, but don't worry the ebay flipper listing will be up soon enough.5:12 pm and there are only 230 left. These are going way faster than I expected.

I bought one, because it's S30V, and as it said in the description it has a 50th Anniv. stamped tang. Hope I'm not disappointed. If the tang had been etched I would not have made the buy.
I agree. I thought, at the very least, they would have added a couple cool options to the custom shop...burlwood, shockwood, drop point, something...ANYTHING, more than they did. Pretty disappointed, to be honest. Small potatoes in the grand scheme, I know. I really would've been willing to fork over some decent coin though for some unique combinations. But, back to the tropic at hand...I gotta say that I'm shocked at the lack of 112s released this year. Buck left a lot of money on the table imo. I don't think you're wrong...In the video it looks etched. The description says "clip blade with 50th anniversary stamp" - I think Buck means "logo" here, for the word "stamp". I could be wrong ?
Good looking knife!
I'm not really into the medallion.
I can order a custom just like it for even money so.....
That's a relief.
I hope you are...stamp means stamp in my mind.I think Buck means "logo" here, for the word "stamp". I could be wrong
I hope you are...stamp means stamp in my mind.
Several posters have mentioned how many knives are left. How are you determining how many knives are left on the web site?
