December BOTM is the model 212

I'm just going to pop in here for my yearly wish for another 100 series knife with the Lucite Betsy Ross flag handle.

Also, I'm going to suggest to Buck that for the year 2026, which is the USA's 250 birthday, they do a different knife each month with the Betsy Ross flag handle!
A Betsy Ross 117 gets my vote!

Dec. 18 is the last day to ship USPS Ground Advantage for Christmas.

Expensive IMO for a 212 with S30V blade

Too close in looks to the SKBlades "Ranger" version that I already have... only difference is in the blade, pommel and guard material. I'm tempted, but at the same time,
I'm Meh on it. Will have to mull it over a bit... I can put the $200 towards something I really want in the forth coming Christmas sales.

If the blade was MagnaCut.... then that would have been a completely different ball game, and my credit card would have taken a hit.

Agreed. Buck's May offering of the 212 with S35VN/Brass/Black Phenolic was a bargain at $124.99.

1000 knives seems maybe a few too many at $200 each.
I'll have to double check mine, but I thought it was S45VN? It's my only 212, and a great little knife in the kitchen.

I’m probably the minority, but disappointed that there were no traditional slipjoints this year.
You're not alone.

Nice! I would probably grab one some other time, but I've bought a couple of knives this month already.

Edit: Plus I have several already.
