I grabbed one, but may need to get a sheath made for it. The sheath they provide is kinda ugly. I didn’t have one so there’s that!

I bit but still wish Buck had upped their game on the 212 sheath.

The distressed leather isn’t even as good as the standard black leather sheath.

Also satin finish is another way to say we didn’t bother to polish the blade.

This was the 'thing' with the similar version 212 SK blades released back in June of 2019. Light had to hit the handle just right to see a glimmer of burgundy.

I remember his prototype was gorgeous. He posted pictures of that knife. We all ordered based on the pictures of that knife. Then the actual production run was almost black.

People complained but it wasn’t his fault. That may have been the last one he did? It is a shame he had great taste. His knives were always nice and priced fairly.

I didn’t mind the black handle and I appreciate the durability of the material. I bought 3 of those knives and have used them. Great knives.
