That's gorgeous. I ordered micarta for mine, it should be arriving soon, but now I want to put them up for sale and grab some G10.
 
Didn't know TKC came out with tweener G10. Just ordered some ranger green

Got these dale's scales in tonight. Going to do a more in depth writeup on a few new pieces of gear soon. Here is a quick pic:

The two threaded bushings for the TKC BK16 G-10 are not the same length. Check out the instructions.
 
Sheath created by AzWelke (Al) with G-10 from Dale at The Knife Connection. They both made a another homerun! The orange sheath matches the G-10 near perfect...even better in person.

I ordered the camo G-10 first, then the orange later...I kind of regretted ordering the orange even after I got it in the mail, the multi-colored G-10 just has lots more going on. I have warmed up to it, especially after getting the sheath. I like it now lots! For those that don't own the TKC G-10, they are installed way differently than the stock handles. They don't even use the screw holes in the 16. The hardware goes through the large cutouts and two pins are installed through the holes to keep it all together.

These are custom sheaths from AzWelke...I wanted to get a good fit as the knives are stripped and had G-10 and I did do some slight work on them with some 220 grit. I sent both knives off to AZ and got it all back painlessly after a short wait (he has the wait time for sheaths on his website).

Dale has some G-10 colors I really like for the Esee knives but unavailable for the Beckers. One for the Junglas called spitfire which is kind of loud but would work with an orange sheath. In fact if they had the spitfire for the 16 I would have got that.

As a last note, when I took the sheaths out of the box in my halfway dark kitchen, I thought the OD sheath was black. It's just a pretty dark green. Only reason I didn't order black was because I had too many black ones and get them confused...The OD looks OD next to the black sheaths.
